02 — why inferis

What makes studying here different

No fixed timetable

Programmes are designed around written work and reading, not live attendance. You move through material when your schedule allows.

Written, not video-led

Content is delivered through structured readings and written exercises. You build a tangible notebook and workbook as you go — something to keep.

Tutor feedback on work

Exercises are reviewed by tutors who respond in writing. Feedback is thoughtful rather than scored automatically.

Layered progression

Topics build on one another over weeks and months. There is no shortcut, but each step is manageable and clearly laid out.

Clear milestones

Longer programmes use monthly milestones so you always know where you are and what comes next without feeling overwhelmed.

Portfolio on completion

The nine-month programme concludes with a final portfolio — a collected body of work that reflects your learning over the full duration.

03 — questions

Things people ask before enrolling

Do I need any prior knowledge to start?

The Slow Start Reading Course requires no prior background — it introduces AI concepts from the ground up through short readings. The Practical Foundations Cohort assumes basic familiarity with computers but not programming. The Patient Path Programme is suitable for learners who have completed introductory material or have some exposure to Python.

How much time each week should I set aside?

The reading course is designed for around three to four hours a week. The Practical Foundations Cohort works well with five to seven hours. The Patient Path Programme varies by month — some periods are lighter, others more intensive. All of this is outlined in the programme guide you receive on enrolment.

Are sessions live or recorded?

There are no live video sessions. All Inferis programmes are asynchronous — you work through readings and exercises at your own pace and submit written work for tutor review. The Practical Foundations Cohort does include weekly cohort check-ins via a shared written forum, but attendance is not mandatory.

What do I receive on completing a programme?

Participants in the reading course keep a written notebook of their reflections and summaries. Cohort participants receive a completed workbook with tutor notes. Those finishing the Patient Path Programme produce a final portfolio document. These are personal learning artefacts, not formal qualifications or accreditations.

How does payment work?

Fees are listed in Malaysian Ringgit. Payment options and instalment plans for the longer programmes are discussed during the enrolment process. Write to us and we will walk through the details with you.

Is my personal data kept private?

Yes. Information you share with Inferis is used only to manage your enrolment and communicate about your study. We do not share your details with third parties for marketing. You can read our full privacy approach in the Privacy Policy.
